About
answers questions only from its own library of texts, commentaries and books, and shows where every answer comes from.
Why it exists
The knowledge of a tradition lives in many books, some of them centuries old, and much of it is hard to reach: out-of-print volumes, scanned pages with no searchable text, editions few people know. General-purpose chat apps answer questions about it confidently, mixing sources, citing pages whose authenticity cannot be checked, and sometimes inventing quotations. A learner deserves an answer grounded in the texts themselves.
What it does
- Answers only from the library. The texts, commentaries and books chosen for it, not the open web.
- Cites every answer. Each answer links to the page it is based on, so anyone can read the original.
- Says when it does not know. If the library does not hold the answer, it says so rather than guessing.
- Is reviewed by experts. Reviewers check the assistant's answers and the text taken from the books, and their corrections improve it.
Where it is today
It is in a private pilot with a small group of reviewers and evaluators, while the library grows and accuracy is measured with expert review. To ask for access, sign in and request it.
Built on
runs on , a platform for source-grounded assistants: each library has its own sources, its own reviewers and its own settings, and every answer cites its sources.
